Waiting for the day to begin,
Cause it's now or never, never again.
Anticipating the moment you walk in,
Like a mad man Frozen in sin.
A ray of light surrounds you,
Thinking of you and what to do.
All the while figuring this out,
Hearing my name in a distant shout.
Turn and smile as our eyes meet,
Walking hand in hand on the corner street.
Guiding you down to the corner store,
The one that sits right next to the shore.
Taking you down to the resturaunt for breakfast,
Overlooking the sea in the moment of everlast.
Walking further down the road to a nice little shop,
Buy you something that can't exactly hop.
Thinking of that diomand necklace and frog,
Shines so bright you can see it through the fog.
This is when your eyes shine brighter,
You start to feel a little lighter.
And then appears your angelic essance,
Smiling cause there's an angel in my presence.
And in case you were wondering,
No it isn't thundering.
That's my heart,
You've had it from the start.

Only darkness falls on those without souls

Ahhh.....I like the emotion put into this poem, and I LOVED the ending, I thought it was great, this one is going in my library.  Hope to see many more great works.

Love will come and love will go, but friends are forever (usually).

wow... i really loved the ending firstly... but the rhyme reminded me of innocent love, which made me smile... There's nothing like romance! Very very sweet and makes me wish i were in love lol

I'm with Allie, I thought of "innocent love" myself. Very sweet.
Loved the ending as well.
Hope to see more.

You wouldn't worry about what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.
