I risked my life today
playing in the rain.
See band camp ain't easy,
leaves you in lots of pain.

Today was the easy practice
BOY I don't want to see tomorrow
Cuz if this practice was easy
I'd don't know what's going to follow.

It was sunny and hot
and I almost died.
Then the dark clouds rolled in
and the sky cried and cried.

It rained and it poured
yet we still marched along!
And the band kept going
playing that tired old song.

Today was the easy practice
BOY I don't want to see tomorrow
Cuz if this practice was easy
I don't know how much more of this I could swallow.

Must say the title fooled me!
I automatically thought it would be goofing American Pie but it seems to be more than that...I liked it

I thought this was ok. Not your best, but nonetheless a good poem.

Lol...this is very true. I've got a bunch of friends in band, and all they do is gripe about band practice....rain or sleet or snow or hail, they're always marching. I really liked this poem.

Here's one that is doubtless
I will love you always Jess

Cool poem. Definately makes band practice sound terrible.
