Up in the mountains in the NFC

Emptiness consumes me
Darkness overwhelms me
Everyone has tried, but no one here can help me
It’s so hard to bare this pain
Lay awake at night in shame
As tears crash to my pillow like rain
Ignorant mistakes, I can’t believe I tried
Tearing at my heart, emotional suicide
Being murdered from within
Guilty conscience from a life of sin
If you want to know what hell is like
Just step into my skin

I can feel no more
Dreams are rich, but my life is poor
I cannot stand this nightmare called reality
Want to gouge out my eyes so I can no longer see

Insatiable hunger for what’s never there
A taste of life without restraints, pain, or despair
And so I starve, blown away with the wind
It’s hard to start over when you can’t find the end
With no finish in sight my pace begins to slow
When I hold myself back I can’t continue to grow
As I stand in indecision I begin to mold
It’s time to toss me out cause I’m growing too old
I’m rancid, rotten, spoiled
Just a piece of trash
Throw me out as you always do
I will sit in my landfill of pain
Just a piece of trash
Never to be seen again
Never to have another chance
Never to start over

I can feel no more
Dreams are rich, but my life is poor
I cannot stand this nightmare called reality
Want to gouge out my eyes so I can no longer see

very expressive. I hope you are ok, and this is just a flow of thoughts. If you need someone to talk to, scream at, whatever, I'm here ok?

Oh, and my fav...
"If you want to know what hell is like

VERY awesome write! so dark and emotional. Powerful as hell! I LOVED it. I loved pissed off, depressed, blunt writing. They are my favs. You are an incredible writer!

You wouldn't worry about what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.

Thanks Spice, and I am glad to always get your opinions, where's your poetry at? I haven't seen any in a while, and your writing kicks ass too!

Wow, talk about an emotional write. Very dark here. I really hope you are doing ok. Well done on the poem though .

I really loved this.
Sometimes you just feel like that inside...
It was great.

Who you are and who you will be is right in the palm of your hand.
