I never.....
thought I would sit here for hours and cry.
Because I never actually thought I would have to say goodbye.

I never.....
thought I would lose such a good friend.
And now I have to wait for my heart to mend.

I never.....
actually belived you were going off to college.
Even though I knew you had to further your knowledge.

I know.....
if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be alive.
But because of you I now know I really don't want to die.

I know.....
you always got on my case when I did something bad.
And I know you were one of very few good friends I had.

I know.....
someday soon I'll see you again.
Beause I know for a fact it's in god's plan!

It's always tough when someone so close to you leaves. I remember when my brother left... and when my sister left. Very hard. You'll get through

Eventually, you'll have an easier time dealing with it. Very nice write. It's awesome that you're getting your feelings out through writing. The emotions were strong. Nicely done!

Im so sorry to hear that you and ur friend had a temporary leave from eachother...a lot of my friends are going back to college in a few days and its kinda hard to deal with it....::hugs:: Great poem tho...u expressed ur feelings well hun
