The night was coming to an end,
Rays of sunlight were showing.
Not a bird was sing to praise the moon.
The land was covered by the veil of death,
Man made death, man the creator,
Man the good.
Death was everywhere, seeking victims
NIght came, but the stars never appeared.
The night left for the morn.
The sun never rose again,
A blue haze of death blotted the sun.
The birds died, flowers did not bloom,
A new creature appeared.
One with a long nose, two disks for eyes
A hole for a mouth, with skin as yellow as parchment
Never more did the bird sing the praise to
the moon.

Those were definitely my fav lines. Awesome work, Regi. I enjoyed this one... very sullen tone, though... sad poem. Nicely done! On to the next...

Great descriptions of the sun here, Regina. You go into it deep enough to give us a pretty good understanding and paint some wonderful images with these words of yours.

I really like this one. Library material.
