The faint scent of roses Embraces my thoughts As the heart reaches out And asks pleasure first. The soft skin of another Upon my cheek, lightly stroking it. The lips meet and melt At the touch. Eyes lock and the realization Is discovered in each other's arms. And the hint of rain Surrounds the world In open blue droplets. The mood that passes through you... Is but the scent of love. ===== MUAHAHA!!! A love poem, written by me, of all people. My last one too.*phew* NEVER AGAIN! Unless inspired...hah! -Leah Va pensiero sull' ali dorate... |

Everyone's leaving so I'm glad that you're staying. Great poem!  Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |

Yeah ok, you need to write more. Obviously, you are good at writing them so don't deprive us of them. This one was absolutely beautiful. Marie- Don't worry, I'll do it again. MUAHA!It's going to be my last love poem because 1) I personally am very tired of writing about love. and 2)I'm no good at it. Sea- Yes, I am sneaky! Thanks for the encouragement. Angel and Allysa- Don't worry, I ain't goin' no where for awhile. Keoni- Yeah, gotta love inspiration. Lake- I think this will be my last love poem, so don't count on seeing any others. EJ- Glad to see ya back for a bit! And no, I'm not leaving. Robin- Please don't tie me to a chair...it'll only make me more psychotic, and you won't like me when i'm more psychotic... Plus, i have a chainsaw and hockey mask...lolBel- Titles do make te difference, dont they?  Kim- I'll keep writing as long as I have the internet. lol Poet Unknown- Glad you liked the poem. Your style is very...versatile, from your dark poems to romance!
