ok i had to drag this one out of storage because the pick up lines have come to my attention again! i must warn you this may be shocking news! "hey baby come here often?" is what i hear when i walk in the door. why do guys use pick up line? the smell of the cheesy colonge. the ugly 4 piece suit. Why do guys use pick up lines? do you guys know they don't work? "i'm lost take me home with you!" that's a new one. you think you're spiffy. you're not! i like original. "hi" wow! a guy who knows what i like! i sit next to him keeping my fingers crossed. "so do ya come here often?" that's it!no more! Lord I ask this one request. a man you never uses pick up lines! goodness! i'm going to scream. Lord that's all i ask.  Robin i don't give up without a fight so boys beware! |

guys use pick up lines cuz they want to try someway somehow to impress the gurls...however...i dont need to use words that aren't part of me to impress a gurl...a gurl should be impressed by a person's heart...(was that a pic up line?) sean |

HAHAHA I should have known this one would be up too Very cute and I agree with your thoughts on pick up lines... my friends and I just think of the craziest cheesiest ones and just start like playin around with them. I think they can be funny when used jokingly. It makes the guys.. I dunno... more funny... more...flawed...lol... Jenn |

I think pick up lines are hilarious. The funniest one I've heard was "I lost my teddy bear, can I sleep with you?" But still, it's stupid. Personally, with me, if you want to ask me out, just walk up to me and start talking to me. Pick up lines are funny, but they're stupid and they don't work for me. Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |

Let me ask you this. Why do some guys call girls whores because they wear shorts that aren't to terribly short and tank tops? In my old neighborhood, the guys would just be like "you are such a whore" and I was like "why do you say that?" and they could never give me a reason because I'm not a whore. I know someone who refers to me as a ho on a regular basis, but I call him a redneck so It's really no biggie. i don't know why girls dress trashy and then want respect, but I know why they wear short skirts and tube tops. It's to get attention. Maybe they want you to respect them for their opinion and not for the way they dress. I dunno. There's two sides to every story though. For a while everyone thought the was I made my money was prostitution when really I mow lawns. Just cuz I was carrying around about a hundred bucks everyday, they assumed I was a prostitute. You gotta ask questions to get answers, and sometimes set the record straight. I dunno, I got a weird opinion about things.  Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |
