I look up into the big blue screen
Under the sun and moon
Stars and clouds are but a dream
The wind is but a tune.
Holding back my visions true
I don't want to see
The world before, the world of blue
The world in front of me.
The clouds pass by above my head
The sun is blocked from sight
The birds and songs have gone and fled
I'm left to darkened night.
The rain soon falls down from the sky
Piercing hardened earth
And slowly night begins to die
And day has found its worth.
The light bleeds through the clouds of gray
And reflects upon my hand
So wet with rain through light's array
Which surrounds this wasteful land.
And so I close my eyes in light
To this world of blue
And vanish above uncertain heights
To blend with sky-filled hues.
I look up into the big blue screen
Under the sun and moon
Stars and clouds are but a dream
And wishes do come true.
-Leah

Beautiful, nice flow and wording painted a nice picture for me to see. Into my library this goes.

I thought you did nicely on this one.

Beautiful.. absolutely beautiful poem, yet again.  I am very impressed, seeing as just a few weeks ago, your muse was nowhere to be seen.  This is an awesome piece.  Wonderful job!
