I don't want to let you go
to turn around and say goodbye
to give up all we could have
to not even try.

I don't want to let you go
to loose the one I love
to let go of what I cling to
when I've got no one else.

I don't want to let you go
to not have you in my life
to give up all hope in us
without even trying to fight.

I don't want to let you go
to loose all that I love
to let them all win
I don't want to let you go.

Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself.  That's what I live by.

Alyssa ~ I loved this poem and can relate to it so much. I have been in a relationship before that no one would or even try to understand. We loved each other very much but everyone thought because we had an age diffrence we weren't allowed to love each other. This poem portrayed my emotions perfectly... I loved it.

I relate to this a lot. Saying good bye can sometimes suck...ok, it usually sucks. I hope things stay ok for you. Nice poem!

I really like this, Allysa.  These are hard feelings to work through.  Good luck.  *hugs* I hope you feel better.  The poem is very well written.  I really enjoyed this... I hope the situation turns out the way you want.
