As I start a fresh slate, ive come to the answer that shows me in differnt lights. Adding and suracting negatives and postives. My dear love asked me to write a happy poem. I think he likes my smiles better than my tears. So here Brad enjoy and I'm cheering up. (smile)

The sun bakes my skin
already brown from my
south american and
middle eastern heritage
relaxing while a breeze
flows across my naked torso
the towel covers the ground
for my skin
a little sigh and little moan
the tranquil atomsphere
has started my healing
Wishes and scenarois play
in my head
ideas for stories and poems
wishes that you could be
next to me
forgetting all that Ive done
embracing the thoughts
that i actually might be worth
something to someone
even though Ill trip and
stumble when I get up I know
That my friends will be there
to help me back up
all of a sudden a loud burst
of laughters surrounds me
smiling faces in their bathing
suits, waiting to go swimming
in my pools
Johnny in his boardshorts
and sexy californian smile
Sam with her funky bellybutton ring
flirting with Josh
And then theres me smiling and
laughing

Regina

If you only understood my pain then maybe you could learn to be my friend. Be there. My crying shoulder. The smiles. And the caring i need to survive.

It's great to see that you've come as far as to be happy, Regi. Although your dark poetry was outstanding, it is nice to see that you're somewhat happy. I hope this stays with you for more than a few seconds.
Nice piece too.

A happy poem? This is not becoming of you Regi....haha
Ok no, I liked this one. A huge changed in poetry, but hey....Brad wanted it, right?
I enjoyed the poem. Hope to see more.

Different from the usual... but different is always good.  I really enjoyed this!  Very.. for lack of a better word, I'll echo Jesa... very peaceful.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

I'm so happy to see a happy poem from you.  Haha, I just mentioned it in the last poem of yours that I read like 5 minutes ago.

BUT....

Ina, I believe you left us a little short here.  I believe there is more to the story and would love to see you do write it down and share to us.  For once, I see a happy poem from you, and I'd love to get the whole story

*hugs*
