A patch of window fog
Blocks my view
Fingers drawing little shapes
In that clear glasslike hue.

In that patch of window fog
I see nothing but her face
Smiling back across at me
Across that endless space.

I wipe away the window fog
With my finger tips
And still I see her shining face
In the falling rain that drips.

I stop and wonder…
What does this mean?
It means I love this woman,
With the face I’ve never seen.

I'm agreeing with Heavens Tears and Mistic, this one id mysterious. The fact that shes there to you and possible invisble to us makes it seem more visual... excellent work as always. /Nick/

Mysterious indeed. I liked it. It's like, the love of your life is out there, but she isn't in your life yet, but you know she will be. At least that's what I took from it.

Yeah Jon..that's kind of it. This'll sound a little cryptic...but I..-may- have found her. Thing is, I've never met her.. Like I said, kind of cryptic, but maybe you can figure out the meaning.

Adam - We both know who this girl is... Maybe they will figure it out in time. I loved this... But you already knew that. *hugs*

Oooo this is really good, Adam! The mystery element of it came through very strongly. It read like some 50's love movie. hehe...
The flow was pretty good until the last stanza. The first two lines were out. Actually, the first line was. It read too short for the rest of the piece.
Anyway, thanks for sharing this. It kicks ass.

AWESOME descriptions.. very nicely done, Adam.  Your poetry is a pleasure to read.. you're a very talented writer, and your pieces as of late really show off that talent of yours.  I really enjoyed this read.. very eery in a few places.  Nicely done, indeed.
