              CORRUPTION OF AN ALREADY
                  CORRUPTED MIND

Let the maggots eat away
at your brain let them
devour your corruption
Help fill your world
with hate

Pour some more of your
greed as fuel let
the world see the
corruption of an already
corrupted mind

Prove that I am weak
Prove that I will be
dead by the age of 20
Where is mercy?

Don't cry for my freedom
Do I turn what justice
and intelligence that is
left into a fryed
zucchni?

The maggots grow and
rott my brain time
has gone by so
slowly,so painfully
Yet the pain is only
dulled to a slight
murmer of a
narcotic

Regina Levy

If you only understood my pain then maybe you could learn to be my friend. Be there. My crying shoulder. The smiles. And the caring i need to survive.

^^ That is totally amazing. The title for this piece is really good. It is so annoying and frustrating how people cannot help or begin to understand the extent of someones pain. The ending was great. I can connect with that really well.

Thanks for the read, Regi.

Those were my favorite lines as well.  I was about to quote them also.  Nicely done, Ina!  I am loving this series.  Every poem is more powerful than the next... Nice work!  On to the next in the series...

Very deep write, this is!
Dark, yet subtle. I like.   The zuccini part made me hungry...
Anywho, I hope to see more from you! (Nice title, hehe)

First off- awesome poem

Second off- fearing-laughter....why would you have to pretend it's great? Geesh, just don't reply!

ANyhow, nicely done here Regi. I liked it.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
