a note to all moderators:
Dear moderators,
This poem has no quotes from the song by lionel richie. Im using just the title, for lack of better title. I am refraining. The poem is inspired,no quotes.

             "SAY YOU SAY ME"

Walking side by side
arms brushing against
one another
the hurt between us
is an unforgivable
gap
Eyes downcast shyness
taking over
where did the bestfriends
go?anger, betrayel
replace what once was
playing mock games of
football or rugby
your not here to watch
me or support me in
riding competitions
anymore
learning how to salsa
or tango
is gone
your two left feet
where did our famous
bumpin and grindin go?
The world has stopped
turning
don't look at me
dont try to hold my hand
I don't want your
bear hugs
anymore
its so akward
nothing is playful anymore
deep meaning
in every blush
every hug
do you remember
our family dinners
your dad,big papa
your mom, mama kate
you really hurt me
while we were in
France
my stomach turns
you lied to me
hurt me
why didn't you
just beat me?
its feels like that
christ
I really cant
believe you
you and a parisian
why?
its time to lose
my beast

Regina

If you only understood my pain then maybe you could learn to be my friend. Be there. My crying shoulder. The smiles. And the caring i need to survive.

Ina, I enjoyed it,but I don't fully understand this whole poem. I think there was too much personal things in it to fully get the message. I do understand what you mean though, in my own way. It sounds like you are dealing with something very hard right now. I hope everything goes better.

I really liked this poem. Thought you did well on it. Surprised to see that I'm only the second reply. Anyway, nicely done.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
