I met someone amazing a few days ago..and this is what came out of it....

So just kiss me
And let me fall helplessly into your eyes
And I will show you what love is
Let the wind carry our thoughts
And don't hold that magic in
Shimmer as you do
and touch the moon
For it has brought you to me tonight
And has told me
to discover you
To open up those thoughts
To walk amongst and in
your secret garden of dreams
stripping away the leaves as I go
to uncover
all that beauty you possess
and all that leaves me begging
for more of your gentle touch

so come forth my love
and messy yourself in the breeze
sit on top of the world
and tell me what you feel
uncertaintly doesn't exist
please don't doubt this power
for tonight i have come to see
that my heart has chosen a stead
and is gently sewing itself
subconsciously
to yours
in the mist of this night
where you lay dreaming
and where i lie waiting
for a glimpse of your eyes
to lead me into
anything and everything
that i want to see

~I'd rather see the world from another angle~ Jewel.

Beautiful job here. I really liked this one a lot.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

great poem.... I believe that we all feel the same way as you described, just not as well, or from another point of view. But I liked it a-lot.

Don't you just love cliche moderator replies? I try to reply only to the ones I really like. If becoming a moderator is achieved by posting, I could post all day long but not really care about the poetry.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this. It took me back to when I first met the love of my life. Thank you for the memory.

This is the first of your poems I have read.  You did a wonderful job.  Love is a wonderful emotion.  I miss it.  BOOHOO.  OK, enough.  Thanks for the great read.

Heres another "Cliche Moderator Reply" as Dylan calls it. (Though I bet you still appreciate the thought that I, or anyone, read the poem. As he would also.)

I really like this. I think you expressed your feelings wonderfully and in such a beautiful way. I'm glad you met such an amazing person. Great Write!

A few months ago, I went to a christian retreat, and met someone and fell in love for the very first time in that one weekend.  I know EXACTLY what this feeling is, and you said every word perfectly.  The way you expressed your feelings for this person were beautiful.  Nicely done.  I REALLY enjoyed this.
