The wind was heavier than ever,
it spoke in a formidable tone
speaking of its journey
   in its undirectional moan.

^*~*^

It took my tacit voice
and gave it a history of speech
but it had been so long since I'd spoken
that some help was out of reach.

^*~*^

It tried to consolidate my mind,
with its windy, whispy wave
but as I began to flinch
we both knew I was far from brave.

^*~*^

My confidence was tardy,
slow, disjointed hope
trapping me with its burden
and keeping me locked in rope.

I loved the last stanza.  This was a great poem.  Thanks for the great read!

I liked this one Kim. Well done here......impressive work.
