- The cold month -

A cold lost chill, sneaks up behind,
Icy fingers constrict and bind.
A petal falls, which marks the day,
The time that summer creeps away.

Desolation is all this season brings,
Life then leaves, as death's song sings.
As what was green, turns brown and dry,
Things in flight then cease to fly.

The heat I felt is cold now too,
Though, I still retain the warmth from you.
After winter, springtime comes,
Bringing new happiness, with the sun.

Wow.. Nicely done, yet again! The way you portrayed the contrasting seasons and contrasting life and death was impressive. Well written indeed. The flow is something that was really excellent. The flow was flawless! Nice work. On to your next...

I really liked this one. 'Cept the fact that I like winter and the cold... But it's alright. The flow was great. Good post, keep posting!

Nicely done. The flow and rhyme was great, and I really liked the first 2 lines of the second stanza. Seasons are something I have not seem many poems about, so this one really caught my eye. Great job!

Summer is just too hot, and winter is just too cold. Spring has too much rain and so does fall :anger:
