Hey ya'll!  I just got back from Washington DC 2 days ago, so this one is new.  I wrote this flying back from DC to Seattle on the airplane.  It's about my grandma and grandpa who died before I was born, and my grandpa who died just 2 years ago...  Anyway, let me know what you think.

ABOVE THE CLOUDS

Above the clouds
Seeing all I can see
I think about you
And how you never knew me

Above the clouds
Isn't this where you stay?
You're the angel of the clouds
Which are hardly ever grey

Above the clouds
I feel so high
I look for your angel's face
But I'm sure it's not what I'll see

Above the clouds
And below them, too
You've been gone for years
I still feel the spirit of you

Above the clouds
I can see some rain
And I know it's your tears
As your pride I continue to gain

If someboy laughs at me, does that make me funny or just plain stupid?

This is very sweet... I enjoyed the whole style and format of the poem.  The rhyme scheme was overall good... shoppy in a few places, but nothing that was serious.  The flow was okay.  I think the only place that i can really say it was off was the last stanza.  The last line was too long for the rest of the stanza.  But I enjoyed this.  Thanks for sharing this with us.  keep posting your work.

Nice write. Very sweet.
I felt the flow in the last stanza a little...not there. It didn't work for me, but that's a little thing.
Keep up the great work!

This is a very thoughtful poem. My grandpa on my mom's side died about three weeks ago and this poem really made me think of him. Mahalo (thank you).

Awesome job here....very touching poem. I loved it.
