I followed dreamlines
Finding this place
Far back
Time danced faces greeting
Tales whispered
Of roo
Of snake
Wisdoms shown
On converging lines
Leading
Always leading
Forward past
Last and first
To spiraled dots
That are part
As we are
And one legged
Patience watches
Seeing more
While most
See only
With their
Eyes

this ping-pong effect between adult and childhood then back again,

then the imagery alone....

one should never simply read your writings....

they should be inhaled....

Deep and thought-provoking...  could be a number of subjective interpretations here.  Enjoyed.

Thank you..some say I have inhaled too much, and that is why they sometimes seem to make little sense...

The poem was written thinking about aboriginal belief in dreamlines...which I found most interesting to read about..and then think about the wisdoms behind their beliefs...

thanks for the comment!!

Wasn't it in the movie The Right Stuff that the Aborigines were featured when Glenn made his flight, and saw their bonfires from space, spiraled dots...

that is at least what I came around to thinking as I read this....

I could be mistaken about the movie, and mixing one scene with another....

but that is in my recall....

I don't know. I never saw that movie.
Sounds like an inspiring scene though...

What did you inhale Ron, and for how long

"one legged patience"  A wonderful phrase among wonderful phases.
