in unrestrain
you flailed in life
I mistook it
for insanity
for I did not see
that glint of gladness
perceiving only
what might be
conceived
by those who
grieve ~

                         madness
                         side by side
                         with
                         sadness

damn those pretenders
that taught me before
as only now

I hear your
close of door

for it is I who
lie here,
in state of
mad
