woven by a poet's loom

We stopped at a place in the valley
a good spot to tarry and dally
but while I was dozing
my girlfriend went nosing
and left with a guy named O'Malley.

I suppose there's a lesson to learn
when a nap in the valley doth yearn
don't make love your table
for if girls are able
they'll be certain your loin chops will burn.

Hey, it was worth a try.... great limerick!
