In the event of pain sometime lies the truth
A truth that has been tainted by a feeling of oppression
The road ahead although traveled seems far away
The sun atop my face reflects the compassion of what the world has to offer
I'm lost
Any feeling of understanding could cast the gloom of clouds that hide my tears in the rain
Your rapture is the liberation of my understanding
I fall free, but the quest for serenity is my conviction
Your friendship has severed my from seclusion
As if a dandelion grown wild
I stand free
My admission of sorrow is not meeting you sooner

Amazing how you found your freedom and understanding through sorrow..... I also liked the metaphore of the dandelion.  Nicely written.
