I want to thank all of you who read my words to our friend, Bill.  This is not a goodbye, but a "see you later" message, and someday...we will meet again.
As his friends, I know he would want us to dry each other's tears, and think of him with smiles on our faces and in our hearts.
We will be doing just that, Bill, and we will always love you for what you taught us here...
Later, dear friend...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I recall the first time that you touched me,
with your words...
That was when a tear fell from my eye...
And then you offered me your hand,
in friendship and advice...
A tear fell when I read your kind reply...

Although I didn’t know you well,
there is one thing I knew...
That, if need be, I could reach out to you...
Your love of music, love of words,
and love you gave your friends,
has touched my life,
and so the tears begin.

No one knows what hour or day,
the angel comes to call...
To take our hands,
and gently guide us home...
And someday, Bill, we’ll meet again,
and share a poem or two...
But just for now,
for you,
a tear will fall...

The road goes on forever, and the stories never end...

Many tears falling, Sunny, I'm sure, throughout this group, and everyone who ever was touched by him.

Sandra...
Yes, my lil sis...we are sad at our loss of one we love, but we shall see him again!

Victoria...
it seems that wherever Bill went, his warm touch followed...I still feel it right here!

Liz...
I somehow know that Bill sees this one, and all of the loving messages posted to him on this site right now.  I know he is smiling!

Maureen...
He is still reachable, my friend...right here in our words and our hearts and our libraries.

The road goes on forever, and the stories never end...
