A winter rose,
a simple grace,
the beauty of,
grandmother's face.

A princess rare,
in yesteryear,
and now a queen,
a treasure dear.

A heart serene,
a spirit bright,
glows winter rose,
in angel's light.

I would love to have this in my garden, Mike. And yep, that's right, whenever I see ANYTHING you post, I just jump right on it.   You have quite a delicate touch with your pen and are quite funny too.

This is so special to me because I never knew the love of a grandmother....enjoyed so much thinking of how it could have been.

My grandmother's cheeks were red in the winter and always a smile. Looked just like a red rose. Ah, you bring back memories of years so long ago.

Your Honor....this is a beautiful penning.  I meant to get here earlier, but some Sun got in my eyes and before I knew it, I had to visit Oz to find this again....
