When I die I want to feel the look of your eyes
I want their touch warming my soul痴 core
The caress of your soft hands even more
And pray even beyond to hear your sighs

You beyond all have made me who I am
You will live and you値l be in my dreams
I値l need you to visit the beach scenes
As we did when once we crunched the sand

No reason for you to struggle or strive
We値l have eternity; you値l hear my poem
And I値l watch you where e弾r you may roam
I want you to bask in my love and to live

I値l feel your love, and the soft of your hair
Know our love will live, that I値l always be there

Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes.

Somehow, someway, although He promises us so much in His Kingdom, I somehow believe we still take the very best with us...

and this just goes to prove that I am not alone in my thinking...

well done Mr. Yeats!

Bill--This IS a very touching poem.. and you know I agree with the sentiment...Love does not stop against the wall of death, but lives on in so many ways.

This is a beautiful poem that reminds us that not even death can seperate us from those we love. Thanks for sharing.

"we'll have eternity"

thank you for those words....wow
and yes, many who can't be together
should think on this...it can make all of the difference some days.

Not every man truly lives."

Only six months ago these beautiful words he wrote, who was to know they would come true so soon (too soon)

Thanks for reposting his lovely poems
Gives us, new members, a chance to read

Grateful that there is poetry
Grateful that he did write
Grateful that he shared with us
His legacy to the Passion sight

Thanks Mr. Yeats for the great gift you've given us

When I die I want someone to cry for me...not because they are hurting but because they loved me and hopefully I loved them the same...and they will miss that love...James
