where the sky and horizon meet

0 posted 2001-07-07 12:19 PM

The weeping willow outside my window
tells me I am home.
Those trickling leaves that catch the breeze
create a swaying dome.
I enter into this rustling haven
and wish for peace of mind.
Nature is the soul's retreat
I go there to unwind.
I raise my arms and start to twirl
the sadness drifts away
into the wall of leaves around me
I am spellbound by its sway.
The healing that goes on in here
is far beyond these words
The magic of my special place
shared only with the birds.

Beautiful imagery, this gave such a warm feeling.

And by the way, you have a great name, Krista.   (happens to be mine too)

I so agree...there is almost a magic about a place so quiet that you can hear and feel everything around you....
