Red roses and white lilies
Dripping false diamonds
As night time’s black shadows
Slowly retreat from early pale
And threatening sun.

Solitude and silence entwined
like lovers caught in passions
sticky web struggle in quiet
desperate agony against
the threads of noise now awakening.

Beauty and life passing
With each tick of time can not
Be recovered or held
Except in memory.

this is what spoke to me the most....my memories are precious....because they are all I have left of somethings and some people that mean the world to me
