Dragons Shadow

Dragons will never die
For in each of us, one lies.
It may be called another name
But it is one and the same.

Some times it’s called the left hand
Or the short hand of the longhand
Whatever called familiar or rare
It’s Beelzebub that’s there.

And it’s hand in hand you go
Through greenery and snow
Over hill and dale you will sail
Both female and the male

The journey may be short or long
Either merry or sad the song
But either way it’s both I say
That makes the journey and the way.

We all have a dragon bye the bye.
Look your mirror, deep in the eye.
See Jekkel and Hyde side by side
For there is your left hands’ abide.

And when you see it just say, hi friend
For it will be with you, till your end.

I would dislike the think
if e'en I were to brink
the Jekyll in the Hyde of me,
in truth, I care not to see...

please tell me, I would entreat
that good by good lies deep within
oh yes, add some salt to my sweet,
but allow good by good to lie, therein...

leave it to you, sweet Sy....to encourage inspire....

Sir Sy, a very wise write with your usual eloquent style    You captured the duel sides of a person perfectly - you used excellent metaphors/images

I'll say it again, can I puh-leease borrow that Randy dragon of yours to pen awesome poetry??!!! I'll be good with him, I promise   (   ) sorrow my two sides can't decide~
