O' When Willow Dances

~*Marge Tindal*~

Once across a memory swirling
Willowed breezes now unfurling
Grace of face ~ serenity laced
Caress of tress abandons place
Softly spills in rapturous recall
Carefreed beckoning spirits call
Cascade of night feathers light
O' When Willow dances

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

If I made you smile today then I did my job!

From the picture I'd say Willow was a very classy dancer as you have described in such an eloquent way!

Serenity~
When willows weep,
all the earth is stirred in gentle sway of serenity.

Willows hold a special magic, all their own, from their roots, to their tendrils...

and you, my friend, have captured a bit of their magic, here....

well done, Marge!

I had to read it again and see that picture!  Coincidence, not likely...sending this over to her daughter to see it just "in case", thanks for this Marge.  And Lady In White is so right, Willows are so special from their roots to their tendrils, so special!

If I made you smile today then I did my job!

Even without music, this is a beauty, Marge... peaceful, serene, and very lovely. *S*

As it is Jenna's (Willow's) funeral today and is the finale of her dance, I had to read this poem this morning as I will never, ever get over how much this picture looks like her, nor will I ever get over the timing of this poem with her death, and the fact that she was in the Royal Ballet for years. Strange things happen for a reason beyond our understanding sometimes. Marge, thank you for this wonderful poem, her family treasures it as do I.

If you have a choice to sit down or dance, dance!
