Flavourful Moon

Cherry pie sky melts
with cotton candy crescent
chartreuse stars swirl dreams
blueberry horizon laughs
awaking mandarin smile
~
Watermelon clouds
cascade seeds of confection
of masterpiece moon
over cocoa-lime ocean
sugar cane waves savour love
~
Meringue mountains sway
with banana cream ribbons
adding dash of shine
and a pinch of fairy dust
moonbeams baked to perfection

Thank you Sven and Karilea - the moon inspired my muse ten fold tonight~

I'm going to dedicate this one to Marge because I know how much she enjoys the moon's magic

Melissa,
Have you turned into a Moonie.....ur,I mean, what a creative way to describe the moon. Your word brush painting has made me hungry, I think I will go get a moon pie! LOL
