what I see in the mirror

This is a painful realization to come to, redwriter. I have lived this life and you need lots of UPS!!

How about one of these: looking up to a clear blue sky, lighting up the night with your eyes, never giving up on the fight. Best I can do right now. Best of luck to you.

Im NO songwriter and my muse went south(again)...
but I like to play with rhymes to unwind so here goes nothing

I look at up as the stairs to climb,
taking one step, one at a time.
Soon I WILL reach up to the top,
and even then, I don't plan to stop.
I find it is a landing half way there,
so once again, I go up those stairs.

Then I find, I left it all behind,
going up in my upward climb.
All the trash is left down the stairs,
swept in little pieces under the chairs.
For now I LIVE, being up once again,
and embrace my new life as a welcome friend.
