Incurable

Mind of vulture's prey
tredging terror hill
no peace in dawn's ray
no heaven in a pill
~
Blind answers offer doves
delivers not their song
you foolish docs of shrink
your philosophy is wrong
~
'Tis not disfunction of body
'tis remorse of the soul,
the mind bears the burden
of inescapable hole
~
The illusion of bottles
cannot cure the pain
chemicals and drugs
don't lessen strain
~
Anguish can't be reckoned with
when inner love doesn't live
each case is it's own hell
confusion is all it gives
~
Sorrow isn't simple
neither is the solution
medication only adds
to the heart's pollution
~
Prescriptions cannot rid
tribulations of disease
subsiding not the past
of incurable memories
~
Seeking God's mercy
lost spirits ache in need...
not false hope of pills
else they waste in bleed
~
Depression doesn't digress
with the snap of a pill's finger
the fractured face of hurt may hide
but, cause of woe still lingers
~
Theories, studies and tests of science
are good intentions, I agree
yet, they never cease affliction
with a text book remedy
~
This is the depth
depression built,
crumble of joy...
dreams to silt,
miracles unfound
weep in wilt
erasing not
sorrow spilt

Melissa,
So true, and so sad.  There is no magical pill that can cure the heart of all its ailments. Only pure and true love can be the only remedy.  I hope you will find that soon.  Lovely read...

Thank you both for your comments
but, don't worry it isn't about me!  I am just disgusted how doctors always seem to want to describe pills to those who are sick in mind, instead of trying to understand the inner hurt, pills cannot cure the pain~

Melissa,
I am right there with you girl! I agree, now adays Doctors seem to think there is a cure for everything with a pill...I know from my sister's experience that this doesnt work...it's only the true love of God that can take it all away and make you heal...
