Swallow Of Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

Tiny Sips
are simply not enough
to quench this thirst of moon
I need to swig a swallow and I need
to do it soon ~ pop a top and drink my fill
as full as I can go ~ it's the only way that I
can think of on this night ~ to see I get it right
her glow now serves to make me mellow and I'm in
thirst for a taste of yellow ~ gulping quickly for I
think that she's the grandest drink ~ and she fills
me so ~ bright the fizzy has me in a pure tizzy
so I drink in her merriment knowing full-well
she is heaven sent ~ to tease my senses
with her tantalizing glow ~ so I take
a long swill and savor her still
before she must go

To take a swallow of the moon will cause unrest, for you will aways have that heavenly quest to pull that silvery globe to your breast....gentle smile

Ah hah!  You did have a full moon there tonight too  , and did you write of it well.  Loved this creative full moon tonight Marge.

If I made you smile today then I did my job!

Mello-Yellow Margie and her luna love ...
what perfect poetic partnership...
and WE are the lucky ones who get to watch them both shine
me

We're all feeding our lonely like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide open if we just find the right words to say.

I took one big gulp of this poem, and loved it    I love it when your clever lil' muse tells you to pen "shape" poems
You write of the magic of Luna well~

Take care,

Marge good lord girl! May your imagination never cease!
Just when I think there cannot be another poetry about the moon that is different... here comes Marge popping the top!
Love it.

Marge,
The sipping of the luna moon
Is highly toxic in the noon.

Marge this is so clever!    I love it!  Do you think you could save a sip for my mayhaps?  Just a tiny one!

Marge,
I love the moon and this was a beautiful way of "taking it all in" shall I say?
'pop a top and drink my fill' That's what I feel like I am doing each time I look at the moon!  Love it!
