what is this blank verse
'tis reading between the lines
what is left unsaid
can many times say much more
than our vocabulary

it's always what people don't say that speaks to me.....it's the words left unsaid that hurt the most, and explain the least.....great one my friend

InterLoper~
Sometimes the written word captures our thoughts just right~
Oft' times there is more~
Discreetly tucked between the layers of our verse~
'Tis a thoughtful reader with discerning eye~
That sees beyond~

Nicely pondered~

So so true...and of course there's always the different meaning that each reader brings to the poem.

Very inciteful write!

Marge ~
purposely pondered
poetry penned palpably
perchance peered prior

Don't all good poets "write" between the lines to one degree or another?
