It’s raining…
The damp change
Invades the senses
As late winter reluctantly
Gives way to season shift
And humans…
With usual anticipatory
Delight become restless

Perhaps a migratory
Memory in our being
That draws us to move
Or perhaps just a shrugging
Off of winter’s confines
Leads us to be as fickle
In direction as the
Thermometer

It’s raining…
And each drop catches
On the edges of my desire
To understand more,
Worry less,
Love…
They puddle there for
A moment or two…
Then run off to join
The sea with millions
Of other
Memories

My memories "puddle" all the time ... I can relate
Wonderful word pictures, Ron.  Fabulous!

Remaining true to your style -- very descriptive in rich, succinct imagery, while retaining many thoughts to provoke.  Well painted, Ron.
