The Greatest Gift

The greatest gift from God above
Is probably this, a Mother’s love
For Mother’s love, it has no end
It never breaks, it only bends,
Though worn and torn and sometimes tattered
The wind may blow, but it’s never scattered
This love endures through sweeping change
For it was borne through greatest pain
A Mother’s love starts right at birth
It is the Greatest Gift on Earth

Thank you. I wish I could have shared it with her unfortunately i did not write it until she was gone. but I was never afraid to tell her how I felt. So I think she knew
