I need to talk about something different,
I need to feel a cool hand's comfort on my head--
I need to feel at home tonight...
the drift of fingers through my hair,
loving presence of someone there,
just the knowledge that someone cares
enough, to hold me...
and tell me everything's alright.

I wish that I could be carefree
release the demons inside of me
I need to feel at home tonight
within my skin,
dancing in moonlight...
whisper everything's alright
(restore the 'old me...')
even if
it's just a lie--
"everything's gonna be alright."
Tell me that it's just a sting,
Tell me lies, tell me everything,
is just a bad dream
and everything really is just fine.

I need to feel at home tonight
within my skin,
===============================

here...let me,--its my turn to clean the mirror
me

We're all feeding our lonely like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide open if we just find the right words to say.

I can't lie to you. Though things are hard now, they will get better. Find your joy in the smiles of your wonderful children. In the smell of your garden. In the turn of a phrase in your latest poem. Little by little, you will feel at home in your skin. I promise.

Ahh, Serenity, what will be alright, will be you, for all you are going through and have gone through only makes you stronger. However even the strongest need to be held like a child once in awhile, and be told,,it will be alright..for it is life..and you are a survivor...very gentle smile with best wishes for you

SweetSerenity~
Know the feelings well ...
'everything's gonna be alright' ...

And it will be ... it just has to be~

Just remember today is yesterdays future, but tomorrows past and things never stay the same. New day, new light (only 8 minutes old!)...change is constant and all things change...constantly.

Smile my friend, and eat an oyster poor-boy fully dressed on french for me (shrimp if you don't like oyster)! Gosh I miss the food there!!!

It will be alright, cause you have so much strength inside you.
I know the feeling, though, of wanting comfort, and love, even if it isn't real, or will not last.

maybe it is that darm Taoist optimism speaking me but I think you can put the demons to rest, maybe not find total peace I don't anyone can but find that serenity (so to speak). Until then keep expressing your voice, you know healing begins on the blank page it starts with the first step. HUGS thanks for sharing.
