Dragon

Green and gold
Blue and red
Shine the scales
upon his head

Iridesent wings
of gold
A beauty so fierce
It's a sight to behold

From his nostrils
Black smoke curls
The suddenly
His wings unfurl

He takes off
In splendid flight
He's gone again
For another night

This was a great description, Lisa.  Dragons have always been a favorite of mine.

All writing comes
