~~

the sun shines brightly
through my window as the cat
basks in golden light

~~

the evergreen leaves
sway gently in the warm breeze
rustling so softly

~~

the mighty river
swiftly flows by as I sit
in contemplation

~~

mother earth explodes
in brilliant hues before me
as I watch in awe

~~

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

You know I prefer this form of expression over most.  Well done indeed

Wonderful!  I enjoyed being there with you, I saw and felt as you, it seems so, anyway.  Your words were so clearly woven.

Oh my, Oh my, these are beauties.

Haikus and senryus deserve a forum of their own don't you think?

Interloper:  I agree, haiku is a great change of pace.

Cpat Hair:  Nature is truly glorious.  Thanks.

VAS:  Then I have done well with these.  Thanks for sharing the journey!

Titia:  You'd never get me out of there if we had a forum for these!  LOL.

lunatic:  Thank you!

Decaflame:

Amy:  I am humbled by your reply, my friend.  They made me smile too.

Poeminister:  Thanks!

Ethan:  Hey there!  Lansing has its moments at times.  LOL.  I bet you could do these things if you wanted.

Kathleen:  I've always loved haiku, sweetheart.  They were the first form I ever wrote poetry in.  And you know I have a soft spot for nature.  Thanks much!

Sheesh did you notice?  It is a "four-haiku" kind of day, you, Sunshine, me, Titia did three.  Hmmm, we all violated the one on a page thingee and got away with it, maybe I can post the other 300 here quicker!  LOL...these were absolutely beautiful, and descriptive to a 't'.
