Eternal In Time

Our love is finesse of divinity
of sensuous sand on a Venus-blessed shore
won'drous waves caress a kiss of impress
celebrating our bond with a ravishing roar
~
We stand beside the crystalline ocean
reveries of you wash over my mind,
I know that our union is eternal -
a sacred gift of fortune's find
~
Some things in life are meant to be
like Neptune's playground of emerald-blue
some moments are born of destiny
just like the peace found within you
~
Heavenly hushs of horizon harmonize
as sparkling sky melts into soulmate sea,
you are rhapsody of ruby rapture...
tidings of awe on chords of melody
~
Today's embrace is tomorrow's breath
in yawn of dawn of the hands of time,
you are fated ying to my yang of fairytale
dancing in a dream on coast of chime
~
In the eyes of my heart's deep fortress
you fly on high with angelic face,
oh, how I adore the bliss of you
my sweet darling of glorious grace!
~
Mystic sea seduces with wisps of wave
calling us to chance the rapids of romance,
and we gladly accept it's beckoning
as incantation soars on butterfly trance
~
The secrets of the tide remind me
that we are cadence to universe of rhyme,
now kindred spirits of Eden's pleasure
evermore etched in time
~
When yesteryear lays down for Winter
and laughter of youth has long since gone
a new generation of lovers shall hear
the legacy of our beautiful song
~
Our wings shall entwine in the afterlife,
as partners in heaven...husband and wife,
'tis true, my dear, we are meant to be...
that last piece to the puzzle of destiny's mystery
~
My heart is yours, as your beat is mine
a journey through God's garden, so sublime
~
Yes, I am yours, as you are mine...
forever making love through smiles of time

Love the piks and the music, but most of all I love the romaticism you bring to mind.  well done indeed.

I liked the rhythm and flow to this, and the internal rhyme thing is a favorite device too! Smooth, polished and deliciously romantic. Enjoyed much!

Dear, sweet Melissa; Wow! You are so gifted! This is the most beautiful love poem I've ever read! Thank you for pointing me towards it. Now if I could be granted such a love, I can send this to him!  Love, Ellie

Melis...this is very impressive...
wow girl..where does one get this kind of inspire...
(i gotta get me some of that)
There is so much to see here...
the cadence..the inner rhyme...the alliteration, the imagery...the very cool poetic wording and phrases and also the references to the forces of Nature and fantasy like Neptune and Venus and etc...
then its all tied up in a bow of romantic devotion and presentation  done perfect.
Your taking your writing to new levels  with this...and its lovely to watch you fly
very well done poetess M.
