Loved into Drift Away

Looking for distance and sharp angles
of green
hush my heart falls
across June sky turned
silk heat

There is still evening
when the flame is turned down
and the sky is becoming
with its color released
drowning me with the liquor
of uncorked jasmine

Whisper now love
for I am drowning in night
and each nova is lit
to fill my darkness with you

Quench this eruption
with that rough hand of tender
smooth it to softest drift away

In sleep I still love you

Your thoughts are as light as cotton candy clouds, and they do drift into the mind so easily Martie, this was simply lovely.
