The many of me inside this shell
Watching and waiting but never to tell
Confusion, destruction this doesn't bode well
The many of me live here in hell

Multitude voices inside my head
Waiting and hoping but looking with dread
Surfacing often to seal up the dead
Bleed off the happiness offered instead

Personality schism is all that I see
Who is the other and who is the me
Hoping and praying one day to be free
Become one in wholeness the I and the me

The voices, the voices, gather in power
Sending me mad every day every hour
My life disposed of; poisoned this flower
Acid on skin as the voices turn sour

The many of me scream in my skull
Raging and storming gutting this hull
All I am able, is wait for the lull
Assert my dominion all voices to cull.

The people inside me, the many of me
Personally different each has their story
How can I destroy them or set them free
The child, the lover and crone bits of me.

One day the voices inside my brain
Will wander away and I'll breathe again,
As softly, softly the whispers remain
Echoes of madness gone with the rain.

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life.  Patty Hansen.

...echoes of madness gone with the rain...

there is always hope...

and we are always here to listen..., little one....

they never go completely away, but that last line makes me feel the rain is also a refreshing cleansing of sorts....this is very deep, Kethry.

Now I know why we missed you. . . wow. . . this is absolutely stunning Kethry. . .

Now, like Seymour said, write one with your happy personality. . . the one that we know is there. . .

Welcome back my friend. . .

Keth...I feel like ya been peeking im my head with this one...
I relate to this one more than Id like to admit to the mes in me...
Honest, soulful purge here me dear...
and Im glad to see your name here and see you writing again..healing and quiet comfort comes in the release of the emotions..
and sometimes we dont feel "happy" and dont need nor want to write "happy"
take care Keth

yanno, Keth - that's what I like about you - every date is a double date!  lol

Neat work is shown here.  The flow is superb, as it usually is when you sit down to write.  The conclusion of hope was a great exit.

Just in case my post really didn't go through - Keth - Dating you would be better than just an ordinary date - It would be like going on a double date!  Shoot, it would be like going on a Bus Tour!  woo hoo!  lol
