This time
this one
this man
wants me--
he told me so,
no disbelief.
No hesitance
within his voice-
as if he never
had a choice--
eyes in steady,
steely, gaze...
unwavering
(he sang my name.)
This one loves
me I am sure.

I pay the price--
snake oil, procured...

Ya don't go out in the desert
without your snake boots on
Ya don't lay down on the railway tracks
until the train has gone.
Ya don't swim out in deep water
with your pockets full of stones.
Ya don't fall deep into loving
if there's snake oil on your bones.

Just cause I don't want ya to get hurt Celeste.....but hey!  go get'em tigeress!

does this exist ...
*sigh of complacentcy* ... and yer reply to Eric is a poetic as this lil gem of rhyme and metaphor ...
the task of figuring out why we're sinking...
when ya learn the serect...send vials.
hugs
me

We're all feeding our lonely like it might go away,
Like the doors of heaven will swing wide open if we just find the right words to say.

this one creates many images, both good and not so. It is a like a shaman ritual, a vision and you know how I feel about visions lately. Hope the desert has brought you something beautiful.

JM, Sharon, brian and Sandra? Thanks for reading---I had fun last nite, couldja tell?

Oh...and sharon? He really DID sing my name...lol... "Hey, Karenanne, what's your game girl, can anybody play?" ---I would have smacked him, but he kissed me too quick!
