Attempting To Reach Its often I gaze A blue ocean yonder Of why you lost touch So often I ponder Its often I gaze Ocean far and wide Where are you now Why do you hide Its often I gaze The starlight above In wanting to share My hope and love Its often I gaze Of days worthwhile Thinking of you To share a smile Its often I gaze Along golden sand Attempt reaching Heart in my hand Hope |

This is so beautiful and heartfelt in its simplicity. I am going through a similar loss right now..wondering where a former lover has gone... wishing she was here for me to talk to..and hold..and love again. You've captured those feelings well! |
