A moment in time, a glimpse in the past
Thinking too slow, reacting too fast
Making assumptions, without even thinking
Swimming to the top, yet always sinking
Looking all around, and never seeing
Knowing the truth, but never believing
Having friends and lovers, and never caring
Telling your thoughts, but still never sharing
Standing straight, but losing your balance
Leaving your life in the hands of chance
A moment in time, a glimpse in the past
Thinking too slow, reacting too fast

What don't kill you can only make you stronger...

Cool write.  Concise and relevant. I like.
