Cast Ye Now ...

~*Marge Tindal*~

Cast ye now to carouseled winds
the embers of desire
turning ~ turning
ever burning

within the soul on fire

Spun to life on soft breeze blown
across a heart in need
yearning ~ yearning
ever turning

within a soul takes seed

Trail of smoke now rising
at the fireside of a friend
turning ~ burning
ever yearning

Back from whence it flew

Lit with ember of soft remember
brings me back to you
turning ~ turning
ever burning

~Seymour ... O' how I thank you~
~Your inspiration is a treasure~

Wonderful. Simply wonderful. I felt myself turning in the piece.

I love the flow of this piece... the almost sing song meter carries the reader gently through the poem as it reveals its message. Very well done!

Well this lifted me to the rafters girlfriend.  What a light and airy piece of poety, and it tickled my very soul, and yes I loved it.
