it goes beyond what I haven’t said,
passes through my yearning,
and right into the way I want you to know me...
the spoken word isn’t too instrumental
in the direction of this channel‘s surge...
such formalities are gaining on the warmth collected,
threatening to freeze over the outlet
of the only untainted means of expression...

it overwrites any lines I may have used,
ascends to the nearest cloud,
and directly above my resigned-to-acceptance face...
the defense of jaded resistance is but ocean-drenched sand
in the design of your awareness...
an attempt to slither past would prove futile,
further verifying the uselessness of my denial
of the eyes that see me transparently...

it reaches me more alluringly than cobalt bliss,
steals me away to ivory’s drift,
and sets down the unexpected predicted...
the unappeasable sun has no place
in the mystic rouse of this freedom...
obligations to maintaining the flame are pointless,
since the certainty of my future is complete
on the imminent horizon that preserves my sanctuary...

-kh 06/27-28/01

it was love that first drew me,
it is love that will keep me here...
now I see love burning brightly
when everything else is unclear...

must be one hell of a view...that imminent horizon...
someday you'll have to give me directions...
I used to know...but I seem to have lost the map....or perhaps taken a wrong turn..
moths are so good at that.....
ignore my blah blah blah...
this is an awesome poem K,...one of your best...the promise and hope in the first verse...the imagery in that last verse...
and the intend of the poem.
very cool write poetess marigold

I really liked that part. I love the verbal imagery, foundered in emotional angst. Cool.
