Full Moon Rising

My past still burns like a child crying,
It will always be part of me;
My future shines like a full moon rising,
Who knows who I am to be?
My mind yearns for the light it's finding,
And as if on cue;
My heart longs like the river winding,
So thunderstruck by you.

A lovely piece of vision, engulfing the spirit to journey with its words.

Nice work.

This was a warming and enchanting message, Sharon, gracefully and delicately soothing to the spirit...very, very beautiful.  The background was awesome, and complimented the theme of your words perfectly!
Hugs and smiles to you, and much love,
Dawn

Thank you all for reading and your comments are most appreciated, and life can sometimes be full of obstacles, but that is what makes it life I suppose, but one does get a tad tired of jumping hurdles sometimes don't they?  Thank you all again.

Vicky: Thank you, glad you liked this one.

ethome: Boy, I better get my act together then, if I am to compete with those two.  I think Janet Marie has the largest stash of graphics on the net, he he, and I luv them!

Richard: You forgot sugar and spice and everything nice!  Have a great weekend!

Ah Lone Wolf - hmmm - if I remember - yes it was LOL, been a while my friend, but I love to write about it, as I LOVE love!  And yes, absolutely, there is nothing in the world like love, especially a child's love!  Thank you for reading this one.

This reminds me, Mysteria, and especially based on the comments, that if you ever catch the movie "The Evening Star", a sequel to "Terms of Endearment", you will see what I saw in this beautiful poem of yours.

And I'm never going to believe you again.  You said you just "fool around" with your poetry.  Well shucks girl...fool around some more...because THIS....

is the real thing!

Sunshine: Shucks!  It is?  Honest, was fooling around with some words (on a napkin actually in a restaurant waiting for dessert - lol), thank you.

lunatic: Thank you for that, I kept it!

Long John: He he, yup it zapped me into stop thinking like this it did!  Thank you sir.

Esclandre: Thanks, and know what?  You just inspired me with that one word!
