Decaflame

call this to mind,
my
pseudo,

break it apart

what do you visualize
before your closed gaze

dec

certainly not for decadence
but wait
I’ve not yet given that a try
who knows
if I would enjoy that dance

oh yes, dec as in ten, perhaps not a number
or a time, or in years gone by

perhaps yet to be followed by many
zeros

of a millennium or two

who knows

a say ah

for the warmth of what follows

by flame

am I then ten suns?

or a warm ten?

ah

who cares?

as so recently advised…

what’s in a name?

I sometimes smile when I think how your mind works....Your creations are beginning to form a signature.

Very enjoyable read!

it's not so much the name as it is the smile behind it

literally 10 flame  or perhaps a pun...on inflame...

love the sounds in this and the way it woven with an almost...defiant attitude...tinged with remourse...

Would thou
deny the name you have
and instead change
like the breeze on fickled day
to another which in some way
fits your feeling better today?
Perchance...
to change again on morrow?
I would but say
that love by any name
is love

WHat's in a name? Well what ever the meaning of your name, for me at least it means "well written poetry"

ahhhh, the seven hills of Rome...

the ten flames of you

surely lighting your surroundings with your musings from your heart, soul, and mind

Like a tease, I'm still left wondering what your name truly means.

All that counts is what your name means to each of us as we read your work.  To me you are a 12 on a scale of 10 ...
