When did the words
Spilled like blood
From my soul
Lose interest
For you?

Eloquent?
No….
But eloquence
Is not all
Offered in
This exposure
Of ideals,
Emotions,
And hopes.

Perhaps…
It is boredom….
That nothing new
Or insightful
To your daily
Living is offered.

Or perhaps it is
Apathy…
From self centered
Preoccupation

Then again…
The words
Are for me as
Much as you…
And I will devour
Them….
And yours…
And all…

Such a feast!!!

Such a menu….

Hey buddy….
Can you spare
A rhyme…

The great poetry depression of 2001, eh?
An intriguing work, Ron, and much appreciated here.

no one hears
my rhyme
but me

so I shall speak
then, a
soliloquy

Thought-provoking (always a good thing!).  I especially liked your last stanza -- ironic, clever, and a hint sarcastic.  Well expressed.
