standing on a shadow's lace

The Dream Pool

across the water
dance your coin
thoughts and dreams
now can join
make a wish
throw your penny
there are dreams
they flow plenty
dreams are real
they can come true
if you follow them
with pursue
you now stand by
the dream pool
make these dreams
your true tool
don't close your eyes
look as you throw
watch this gift
dreams bestow

It would be nice if we could spend our time with our eyes closed dreaming. Nice.

I've always found that it's better to dream with your eyes open. . .

wonderful helen. . . you always have such a gentle, dream-like quality to your work. . .

don't close your eyes
look as you throw

Dreams are precious...not to be wasted on a careless toss.  Yep!
